Franklin LaVoie is a visionary artist, storyteller, author, and astrologer with a master's degree in Earth Sciences from Buffalo State College, and a degree in astrological studies from the Kairos School of Astrology.  He weaves mythos and logos in his storytelling drawing especially from ancient Celtic lore and legend.

"When the realm of nature is honored as a living being, capable of bestowing miracles,

we discover miraculous things, hidden in plain sight, where none were ever seen before,"

- Franklin LaVoie

Franklin awakens the archetypal imagination infused with the power of myth and logos and demonstrates the interplay of spirit and nature in his bardic storytelling. He also hosts a bi-weekly Alchemy Study Group at 7:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays for the Jung Center of Buffalo.  He has also pioneered unprecedented research into the "Sacred Geography of Buffalo-Niagara," and has built parade floats for the Children's Parade at the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts, built and operated a Puppet Wgon at the Niagara Celtic Heritage Festival, and performs as Treebard-the-Ent.  Franklin's art is on permanent display at Inspiration Point, 483 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo.  He has published articles, poetry, and art in a variety of anthologies.
